Charles backs fathers
PRINCE Charles yesterday showed his support for dads who lose out in the divorce
courts.
He said he felt judges favour mums when deciding custody of kids — even when
many fathers were not to blame for the split.
The prince spoke out while chatting to a newly-divorced Navy officer on HMS
Belfast in London.
Chief Petty Officer Neil Smith, 42, said: “He said that things don’t seem
very fair at the moment — and that things seem to be weighted towards
mothers.”
Divorced dad-of-two Charles’s comments are a boost for the “Fathers 4
Justice” campaign.
